Chris has now played the incredibly long-awaited Final Fantasy VII Remake at a preview event so has lots to say on the podcast. And he didn’t just play for a few minutes…. no, he’s played hours of the game and has things to say about it, while the two Adams listen on and beg for scraps of info. The hype for this one might be real, folks.
Adam Cook has been trying to reinvigorate his love of racing games with Overpass, which is an uphill racer that is like a combination of Getting Over It and Trials. Is it any good? Listen to find out.

After talking about Dreams last episode, Adam and Chris are completely in love with it. On top of that, Chris White reveals he hasn’t played a game UNTIL NOW that he should have, and has plenty of early thoughts on Vanquish for PS4. Adam Cook thinks Valfaris is 2D Doom (2016) and explains why, too.

Kunai has come out of left field and shocked Adam Cook and Gary with its MetroidVania goodness, like a fresh breath of air in the funky 2020 breeze. Meanwhile, Patapon 2 is back, remastered for PS4, and Zombie Army is back for a fourth go around in Dead War. Dreams is out soon, too, so Adam Cook has been playing that, or rather, surfing that. Listen on, it’ll make sense.
Not intent on trying to ruin the podcast gang by forcing them to do a Scottish accent, this week the listener correspondence appears to be forcing Liverpudlian on them, so that’ll definitely be fine. What games make the pod-crew sick, what amiibo is their dream amiibo, and what terrible song makes it to a desert island for forced listening. Starting out in 2013, who knew it’d take seven years for Kentucky Route Zero to finally come out. But it’s the Switch version that’s made Adam Cook start playing it again after starting the first Act all those years ago. It’s Wednesday, which can only mean it’s the middle of the working week and your favourite quadruplet of podcasting heroes are here to save you and talk about games such as Outer Wilds. Nicola has been playing Patrice Desilets’ Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, which is his first game released game since leaving Ubisoft all those years ago.
