298. My Dog Grew too big
Wednesday May 30, 2018
Wednesday May 30, 2018
Not much is happening in the news aside from the Battlefield V reveal, and a boss at Sony suggesting the PS4 is nearing the end of its life cycle, but there's plenty of "new" games to discuss.
Gary, Chris, and Adam Cook have played Dark Souls Remastered, and have varying thoughts about it, while Adam has also reviewed Detroit: Become Human. Chris has had a look at another retro collection, too, so there's that!
The Patreon section is yours for $1 a month, which gets you a chat about Evil Genius (Netflix), Deadpool 2, Taco-Bell, and comic-con!

297. Crushed!
Wednesday May 23, 2018
Wednesday May 23, 2018
With the beta for ONRUSH available, Adam Cook has been enjoying that, while not understanding the rules fully, but he also rather rips into State of Decay 2, so fans of that one beware. Adam Carroll has been playing WonderBoy on Switch, but it's a very news-heavy week again.
Black Ops 4 has no single player campaign, No Man's Sky is getting multiplayer, Boss Key Productions is no more, Shenmue 3 is delayed, as is the new Metro. There's loads to talk about, as well as listener correspondence which has the lads chatting about how great they are, and playing as bad people in good games.
Of course Patreon Premium Podcast (PPP!) extends the episode, and you get it earlier for a mere $1 a month. That's four (at least) pods per month, early and extended. JOIN THE GANG and listen to how many stars out 6 Chris gives Deadpool 2, what Adam thinks of Evil Genius, and what the other Adam thinks of his continued adventures into Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

296. Ship's Leakin'
Wednesday May 16, 2018
Wednesday May 16, 2018
Imagine if Canadian Walmart just announced a lot of games we didn’t know existed, but also sort of assumed did, because that’s what happened last week. From Gears of War 5 to Rage 2, there’s plenty to talk about, and there’s loads of Nintendo Switch news, alongside the PES 2019 announcement to get through in news.
But that’s not all, Adam Cook and Nicola have been playing State of Decay 2 and can talk about it in a preview sense. Nicola can talk more “reviewy” about Forgotton Anne, because she’s reviewed it, and Gary is mid-review for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
The Patreon section that is for $1 a month premium subscribers gets you a chat about Thor Ragnarok, and more, so get on that.

295. Looking for a Whopper
Wednesday May 09, 2018
Wednesday May 09, 2018
You won't believe it, but we've been able to squeeze another hour and change out of the gaming industry for a podcast in what can only be described as "a quiet time". Chris has played LABO and has thoughts, while there's plenty of news thanks to Rockstar Games' Red Dead Redemption 2. The trio of Adam Cook, Chris, and Gary also discuss how EA are going to handle FIFA 19 now that the game is considered gambling, and thus illegal in Belgium, due to the Ultimate Team packs, too.
The Patreon section, which you can get for $1 a month, is Adam talking about Captain America: Civil War, and he's perhaps not as big a fan as everyone else might be...

294. Fish Picking
Wednesday May 02, 2018
Wednesday May 02, 2018
Not much is happening in the world of games right now, but The Swords of Ditto is out and Gary has reviewed it. Meanwhile, Adam Carroll has finished God of War (no spoilers, till), and Square Enix has revealed Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
Aside that, there's a smattering of news, but the Patreon section is all about Adam Cook's adventure to catch up on the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hear that by backing us for $1 a month, which gives you loads of stuff, not least the extended premium edition of the podcast, which you'll get before anyone else, too.

293. On the Hole
Wednesday Apr 25, 2018
Wednesday Apr 25, 2018
As you’d expect, it’s still very much time to chat God of War as the whole gang have played it, but the show kicks off with a lot of chat about Nintendo LABO, which Chris has been playing.
Adam Carroll has finished Far Cry 5 has no surprise revelation, but there’s plenty of news to talk about as always, especially since Microsoft info is leaking, forcing us to play out a discussion on what the neXtBOX would be called.
If you’re a Patreon you get to hear how Canadian’s celebrate 420, and what Chris thought of A Quiet Place (it’s a film, not a situation), and what Gary thinks of the new Jurassic Park Trailer. If you’re not a Patreon, well, get yourself over to this link and drop $1 a month on us to get the premium podcast and much, much more

Extra: The Infinity War Special
Tuesday Apr 24, 2018
Tuesday Apr 24, 2018
As the world readies itself for the biggest movie event 10 years in the making, Chris and Gary team up like some cool superhero podcast team (kind of) to talk about the MCU’s latest and biggest entry, The Avengers: Infiinty War.
They discuss their favourite MCU movies, where the infity stones are, and what they mean going into the movie, and who they fear may not be alive by the time the credits roll.

292. A Screaming Ball of Rage
Wednesday Apr 18, 2018
Wednesday Apr 18, 2018
As you can imagine, this week is all about God of War on PS4. Adam Cook has played through it, and is here to tell you exactly why he agrees with Chris’ 10/10 scoring review. Elsewhere, Gary and Adam Carroll are still playing through Far Cry 5, and there’s been some surprise announcements in the news this week.
Firstly Hellblade won lots at the BAFTAs, Shenmue 1 and 2 are coming back, Football Manager is out on Switch, and Xbox has been doing some more cool backwards compatibility stuff.
Obviously there’s a puppy update for Patreons, as well as some music reviews and Star Wars chat. Pay $1 a month to get the premium podcast which is delivered earlier and longer for your aural pleasure.

Wednesday Apr 11, 2018
Wednesday Apr 11, 2018
Gary and Adam Carroll are playing Far Cry 5, while Adam Cook can't yet talk about God of War so plays The Adventure Pals instead. Nicola finally gets to defend Sea of Thieves, and there's a long chat about Bloodborne/Souls, and Rainbow Six Siege.
All that and the week's news, with some extra special Patreon-only pup-chat, and movie reviews - which you'll need to pay $1 a month to access. Each week you get every podcast days early, and extended!

290. It Must Be True
Wednesday Apr 04, 2018
Wednesday Apr 04, 2018
Adam Carroll and Chris White rejoin Adam Cook this week for a three-man pod, to talk about Far Cry 5, Ni No Kuni II, and Sea of Thieves. We told you those games would be showing up for a few weeks.
Elsewhere the news is all about naming conventions and No Man's Sky, and listener questions were bangers this week, keep them coming. The Patreon extra part is all about music (as often is the case) and dogs, and tabletop gaming. Yes, Chris is getting into that! Subscribe to us via Patreon for $1 a month for the premium, early access version of the podcast.
