342. Plodding Around

On this week’s pod, Nicola makes her return to talk all about zombie shooter World War Z, and lets us know whether its the spiritual successor to Left 4 Dead we all want it to be. She’s also been playing Astroneer, but isn’t entirely sure about it.

Elsewhere, Chris has been playing Mortal Kombat 11. He’s very much in love with it, and tells us exactly why it’s so good.

Listener questions revolve around Easter eggs, the Nintendo eshop, and a sound off about our love for Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

341. Floppy and Longer

On this week’s podcast, the team spend a healthy portion of the games chatter talking about Star Wars Celebration that happened recently, and in particular, the announcement of Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. There’s also some discussion on the trailer for Star Wars Episode IX: Rise of Skywalker, and what could potentially happen in the final entry into the saga.

Elsewhere, Adam Carroll has been playing Final Fantasy VII on Switch, as well as progressing through FromSoftware’s samurai action game, Sekiro. Gary gets to wax lyrical about Darksiders on Switch, as well as giving his opinion on the DLC for We Happy Few.

340. Nice and Deep

There’s been plenty of discussion about accessibility in games right now, and since we’ve been playing Sekiro, we may as well weigh in with our own stories.

Elsewhere, Chris has reviewed Dangerous Driving, and Adam has been playing a hot new game called Final Fantasy VII, but also Mechstermination Force.

339. Kombat Kast

We're back (on track?) with a super early podcast for your ears. Join both Adams and Gary as they discuss Mortal Kombat 11 and how it feels, what's new, etc. There's in-depth chats about Devil May Cry 5 (as neither Gary, nor Adam Carroll have had a chance to chat about it yet on the kast) and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice has the Adams family breaking up, sort of. They disagree, alright?

On top of that, there's time for Adam Cook to attempt to explain Baba is You, and to talk about Cuphead on Switch (and Xbox, because obviously the Switch chat in a PREVIEW sense).

338. Dancing for Strangers

From Software have deigned us mere mortals worthy of a new game, so Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is on the docket this week, but so is the surprisingly good Generation Zero, which neither Gary nor Chris had really heard of before we were sent code, and Gary is rather taken with.

After an incredibly busy start to 2019, Chris and Gary have been playing The Division 2 and not much else. 336. Sidetracked

This week Chris has been to play Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, so has things to say about that, while Gary has been playing a game for preview, Adam Carroll has been playing Shadow of War (the not-GOTY-game from last year) and everyone is still playing Apex Legends, which will not ever call ApeLeg - not here. No.

335. Chris the Saviour

Slightly later than usual, we managed to squeeze in some chat about Devil May Cry 5, Days Gone, Trials Rising, and even Toejam & Earl: Back in the Groove, all so you can hear about the embargoed games… after the embargo lifts, but not a week after.

Apologies for the technical issues this week, we’ll try to make sure it doesn’t happen again!

334. Realism

Adam Cook still can't get over how disappointing Anthem is, but Gary is now seeing the cracks, too. Elsewhere, Trials Rising has some strange design decisions but is otherwise a Trials game, Dirt 2.0 is blowing Gary away, and Adam Carroll and Gary chat about the "realism" of Dead or Alive 6.
