362: Animeaniacs (Gears 5, NBA 2K20, Man of Medan)
Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
Wednesday Sep 11, 2019
September is here, but we’re calling it August-2 as the games just won’t stop. Adam Cook has played and reviewed Gears 5 and loves it, but doesn’t love them dropping the “of War”. Meanwhile, Adam Carroll has a very strange experience with The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan. We’ve also played some Daemon X Machina on Switch, but Chris has been mostly playing NBA 2K20, which he really digs.
This week’s Listener Correspondence is about Jesus and miracles, Death Stranding, MetaCritic, what we’d play if we weren’t reviewing, and, well, we get a bit self-indulgent towards the end talking about our proudest GodisaGeek.com moments. Hit us up every week with new daft questions (and serious ones, too) and we’ll answer them! Seriously, maybe you want to know the weirdest thing Adam Carroll has ever eaten, or what team Chris plays as in NBA 2K20? You can’t un-ask these things! You can ping us across all social media platforms – seriously, ask, we won’t bite!

361: Ambience (Blair Witch, Control, Astral Chain)
Wednesday Sep 04, 2019
Wednesday Sep 04, 2019
The Blair Witch game is out! No it's not 1999, a new video game from the makers of Layers of Fear has hit our consoles (and PCs) and Gary has reviewed it. Adam Cook is too scared, so finished Control instead, before playing the scary but not quite as scary The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan and Catherine: Full Body. Adam Carroll is cross he can't play Blair Witch because he doesn't have an Xbox One or Gaming PC, but he's instead managed to start Astral Chain!
Questions revolve around collectors edition regrets and favourites, as well as shame of buying junk food and sweets. Of course we get time to talk about toilets and farting, though, don't worry! Hit us up every week with new daft questions (and serious ones, too) and we'll answer them! Seriously, maybe you want to know the weirdest thing Adam Carroll has ever eaten, or just how scared the Blair Witch game made Adam Cook? You can't un-ask these things! You can ping us across all social media platforms - seriously, ask, we won't bite!
We're on Spotify now, by the way, so you can even listen there!

360: The Boycie Laugh (Control, Astral Chain, Remnant)
Wednesday Aug 28, 2019
Wednesday Aug 28, 2019
We're officially in too deep with too many games, as is clearly displayed with some bizarre impressions this week. Meanwhile, Adam Cook has been playing Control and Astral Chain, and some Telling Lies, too. Gary is all in love with Remnant: From the Ashes, but there's still time to digest whatever that was that Hideo Kojima showed at the Game Awards show for Gamescom 2019!
As usual, listener questions are about food (and games), but also fakery and what we've been watching on the old tv-box: there's something new for you! Hit us up every week with new daft questions (and serious ones, too) and we'll answer them! Seriously, maybe you want to know the weirdest thing Adam Carroll has ever eaten? 359. The Game (Astral Chain, Fire Emblem, RAD)
Wednesday Aug 21, 2019
Wednesday Aug 21, 2019
It’s your regular weekly Wednesday computer game podcast! Well, well, well, we’ve only gone and played some Astral Chain, haven’t we? Platinum Games might well have another banger on their hands, but the review will have to wait until later, because we’re also exploring the wastelands in Double Fine’s RAD. It’s a roguelike but wait, it’s a little bit different. Of course, Adam Carroll is still playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses, because it’s a million years long!
As usual, listener questions devolve into a chat about food and penises, but what do you expect? This week we also talk about game preservation and retro treats. Hit us up every week with new daft questions (and serious ones, too) and we’ll answer them! Seriously, maybe you want to know the weirdest thing Adam Carroll has ever eaten? You can’t un-ask these things!

358. Champion Royale
Wednesday Aug 14, 2019
Wednesday Aug 14, 2019
It's your regular weekly Wednesday gaming podcast! Adam Cook has finally caught up and played through A Plague Tale: Innocence (over two days, no less) but is also dangerously addicted to indie game, Forager, which is only made more addictive by it being on Nintendo Switch. Mick Doherty joins the gang to talk about Firewatch among other games, while Adam Carroll is still playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Gary has been actually winning battle royale games thanks to Battlerite Royale. His journey will surely be one of heroism and no one of playing only bots.
As usual, listener questions devolve into a chat about food and penises, but what do you expect? Hit us up every week with new daft questions (and serious ones, too) and we'll answer them! Seriously, maybe you want to know the weirdest thing Adam Carroll has ever eaten? You can't un-ask these things!

357. American Soccer
Wednesday Aug 07, 2019
Wednesday Aug 07, 2019
Adam Carroll is still playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses, but Adam Cook and Gary have been having a go on The Surge 2 on PC. Meanwhile Chris is picking up the slack and hitting up some indie games in the form of The Blackout Club and The Church in the Darkness, but he's also heavily into the new Madden, too.
As usual, listener questions devolve into a chat about food and penises, but what do you expect? Hit us up every week with new daft questions (and serious ones, too) and we'll answer them!

356. Questionable Romance
Wednesday Jul 31, 2019
Wednesday Jul 31, 2019
Madden is out, the games can now come again... only they never really stopped.
After 50 hours of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Adam Cook has finished his journey, but Chris White is only beginning his as he's been playing Borderlands 3. Nicola is killing Nazis in Wolfenstein Youngblood and, honestly, god only knows what Adam Carroll has been up to - probably eating some terrible food concoction.

355. One Gammy Eye
Wednesday Jul 24, 2019
Wednesday Jul 24, 2019
Comic-Con 2019 is on everyone's minds, but Chris White has been playing *loads* of Switch games, while Adam Carroll is in love with A Plague Tale Innocence. Gary has been on Darksiders III's DLC, and of course we answer your questions as usual! Enjoy!

354. Fully Toasted
Wednesday Jul 17, 2019
Wednesday Jul 17, 2019
In a preview sense, Adam Cook has been playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses. In a preview sense, Chris White and Gary Bailey are interested to hear what it’s like so far. Milquetoast Bailey has been playing Super Mario Maker 2, and it seems Sir Chris of House White has been dipping in as well. Caravan-boy has also been to play GRID (2019) at Codemasters’ office, and is obviously smitten.
The food questions for our weekly food podcast keep coming, and we’re here to keep you happy. You can email more to podcast@godisageek.com of course, so feel free.
