449. Scarlet Nexus, Dungeons & Dragons, Mario Golf: Super Rush

Mario Golf: Super Rush and Scarlet Nexus are out now, and the team have been playing lots of both. Adam Cook has seen credits on Super Rush, while Chris has hammered through Scarlet Nexus, too, and both games are good, though Adam has concerns about the Mario Golf single player adventure.  

What will our live audience have to say? Will they have questions about Super Rush mechanics, or how long Scarlet Nexus is? You'll have to tune in live next week to see how it all works, right?

448. The Big E3 2021 Wrap-up

It's two things this week: podcast time, and E3 2021 wrap-up time! Adam, Chris, and Adam discuss all the major players, get angry, emotional, and all the other stuff, too.

E3 2021 is pretty much done, and what did we think of all the major players this year? Just where did Sony go, and are they coming out swinging in a few weeks?

447. The BIG Pre-E3 special, F1 2021, Operation Tango

E3 2021 is so close, and the rumours are swirling around everyone and everything. It's time to find out what our big predictions are, and what our listeners/viewers have predicted, or dreamed of: it's time for a Pre-E3 2021 podcast!

But we have been playing games, too, so first we have to talk about F1 2021 in a preview sense, and Operation Tango, the newest "brand new" game to hit PlayStation Plus this month.

446. Biomutant, Knockout City, Scarlet Nexus

The gang are still playing Knockout City and Scarlet Nexus, but Biomutant is out now and Adam Cook and Mick Fraser have been playing that, and have quite differing opinions on it. Some news is likely to break as we record, so maybe we can react live to that as well, otherwise, we're very close to E3 so maybe it's time to have some predictions? 445. Knockout City, Rust, The Wild at Heart

Despite sounding like a dodgy way of “taking care of yourself”, Knockout City is out now, and is yet another EA game that is different and unique, and Adam Cook and Chris White have been playing it against other media and the devs themselves so they can chat about it on this podcast. Wonder how they did?  

Rust Console Edition is out of beta now, and Chris White has been all over that game, with varying levels of success, while also playing a game that’s hitting Game Pass soon called The Wild at Heart. What has Chris Hyde been up to? You’ll just have to listen to find out, we’d say.

444. Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Scarlet Nexus, Wrath of the Druids

A Mass Effect podcast, in 2021? Yep! The wonderful trilogy that we all played (right, Hydey?) back in the day is back in 4K at 60fps, but does it hold up? Adam and Chris White have been playing it, so give us the 411 on that package.

443.Resident Evil Village, Returnal, Assassin's Creed Valhalla

Returnal is still on our minds as more of the pod-crew catch up on it, but also, all four of us have played and finished Resident Evil Village, and while we have a 2 hour spoilercast for major spoilers, this is a less-spoilery chat about the game and our overall thoughts.

For some reason, everyone apart from Chris Hyde is playing Assassin's Creed Valhalla now, so that's something we need to look into.

442. Returnal, Nier Replicant, Apex Legends

Returnal is out now and we've played it, and it seems to be another cracker from Housemarque. Is it worth the £70 entry fee, though? Is ANY game worth that? Let's discuss it.

 

Nier Replicant is also still on our minds as Chris Hyde is playing through that, but how do the others feel about it? Also, with Resident Evil Village so close to release date, Chris White is playing through Resident Evil 7 finally.

441. Nier Replicant, Returnal, Outriders

Nier Replicant has been played to completion and we get to discuss whether it's better than Automata, and how we feel about it overall. Returnal is in our PS5s as well, and it's time for us to have a short chat about our early impressions of that PS5 exclusive. Outriders still seems to be dominating our playtime, and Chris Hyde has finally had a bit of a go on it, now!
